Counselor’s Corner

Ryder’s counseling team supports every student’s academic growth, social-emotional well-being, and preparation for future success.

Our Purpose

Counseling Department Mission

The mission of Ryder’s school counseling program is to provide every student with equitable access to high-quality, developmentally appropriate counseling services. Through academic, social-emotional, and college and career support, we help students develop the knowledge, skills, mindsets, and behaviors needed to become successful learners, responsible citizens, and lifelong contributors.

In partnership with school leaders, staff, students, families, and community organizations, our counselors work to ensure that each student’s individual needs and goals are recognized and supported.
